We're Hiring! UVTPC Community & Program Coordinator
Do you love bringing people together, building connections, and helping great ideas take root? The Upper Valley Teaching Place Collaborative (UVTPC) is looking for a creative, organized, and community-minded individual to join our team as a part-time Community & Program Coordinator!
UVTPC connects educators, schools, and community organizations across the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire to support place-based and environmental education. We're looking for someone who shares our passion for helping young people connect with their communities and the places they call home.
About the Position
This flexible, part-time role offers an opportunity to support a vibrant network of educators and community partners. Responsibilities include:
Coordinating the annual UVTPC Conference and other educator gatherings
Creating monthly newsletters and managing website and social media communications
Building relationships with educators, schools, and community organizations
Supporting collaboration and new opportunities for place-based learning
We're looking for someone who is dependable, self-directed, creative, and enjoys connecting people. Experience with event coordination, communications, or education networks is helpful.
Position Details:
Hours: Approximately 3–15 hours per week, varying seasonally
Compensation: Competitive and negotiable based on experience
Location: Upper Valley region preferred; some in-person participation required
